5. Know Your Options

Advanced Placement (AP) Courses
AP classes offer college-level curricula and examinations to high school students. Each spring, students in AP courses take the AP examination at no cost to them. Colleges and universities may grant placement and course credit to students who obtain high scores on the examinations.

Career Technical Education (CTE) Pathways
CTE Patways combine rigorous academic classes with industry-specific knowledge and skills to prepare students both for direct entry into industry sectors and postsecondary education.
