Anti-Racism Resources
Anti-racism/community specific support resources
We hope you are doing the best you can to stay safe and healthy during these incredibly challenging times. We want to acknowledge the huge amount of grief, fear and anxiety many people are currently experiencing due to the COVID19 pandemic. Additionally, we know that we cannot talk about wellness without acknowledging the trauma and suffering that many people in our communities are facing as a result of the ongoing violence towards communities of color and black communities in particular. There is no doubt that the constant threat of this pandemic, and the layers of systemic oppression create huge barriers that impact not only a person’s ability to engage in learning but also their mental health and wellness. As a wellness team, our goal is to support students, families, and staff in whatever ways we can during this challenging time and to challenge racist systems and structures that are negatively impacting wellness and mental health for students, staff and families in our communities.
