Updated Shelter In Place Order

 Dear JUHSD students and families,

I hope this message finds you and your family safe and healthy. As you may know, San Mateo’s County Health Officer, Dr. Morrow issued a new order that essentially extends the Shelter in Place Order through May 31, 2020.

If you have essential business that brings you to a school campus or on the JUHSD property, you will need to know some important guidelines. Anyone visiting district property or within district facilities shall:

  1. Stay at least 6 feet away from others
  2. Wear a face covering (scarf or mask)
  3. Avoid groups of any size outside of your family household
  4. Avoid public places

Also, remember that we are in Shelter in Place. This means specifically:

  1. Stay home
  2. Leave home for essentials:  food, medicine, banking, wellness checks
  3. Continue with social distancing (1-4 above.)

Please remember to practice self-care during these difficult times. Our wellness counselors are available to provide support to students and their families; information and additional resources are available on our website at

Thank you for continuing to read my emails. I will continue to update you as I receive information.  I am expecting another order within the next week.  In the meantime, please take good care.

Dr. D.
Terry A. Deloria
