Honoring Black History Month

In February, Black History Month is celebrated to honor the achievements of African Americans and to recognize their central role in U.S. history. Since 1976, every American president has designated February as Black History Month and endorsed a specific theme.

Take this time to learn more about Black history and culture and celebrate the African American educators in our community. Learn more about Black History Month from the County Office of Education’s website.
