1. Beginning at 9am on Tuesday January 5th, each school day, all students will be required to Zoom in each day to their first period class. Teachers will use part of this time to check-in with you, answer any questions, and discuss your academic standing, among various other things. Once the period has ended, you will continue to your assigned cohort schedule. For example, Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays, both cohorts will log into their first period Zoom class. Cohort A will continue in Zoom classes for the remainder of the day on Mondays and Thursdays (Cohort B will exit Zoom and continue with asynchronous learning Mondays and Thursdays). Cohort B will continue in Zoom classes for the remainder of the day on Tuesdays and Fridays (Cohort A will exit Zoom and continue with asynchronous learning Tuesdays and Fridays).
2. Beginning Wednesday January 6th and each Wednesday after, all students will log into the THS Whole School Google Classroom first and complete a short survey in order to document their attendance and their progress on asynchronous work for that day. Complete the survey by 12pm each Wednesday.
This change is being made to improve overall attendance for all students, to increase engagement in school activities, and to make sure we are able to stay connected with you more regularly.
