    About The Club

    Welcome to Moving Mindfulness Club

    The Moving Mindfulness Club is for Westmoor students to visualize the idea of promoting positive self-character and discipline: being faithful to self, perserving, being supportive to others in need of such situation, to communicate effectively with different people every day, to refrain from negative behaviors. In addition we will share and support the knowledge in techniques of body, mind, movement and breath focus. Activities may include the practice of stationary breathing exercises(basic mindfulness) and gentile moving mindfulness activities such as mindfulness walking, Tai Chi, and Qi Gong. All officers and members will understand that refraining from violent behavior and any physical contact is a basic tenet of the club.

    Club Activities

    Pot Luck:Gather around and bring you're food with people you don't know and eat with them

    Beach Clean-up:Cleaning the beaches of any trash and other things that do not belong in a beach to keep the environment safe

    Volunteer Event:Volunteer for the events currently happening now at Westmoor High School

    Club Statements

    Seek perfection of character, be faithuful, endeavor, respect to others, and refrain from violent behavior.
