Meet the Terra Nova Administration Team!

  • Megan Carey
    Ms. Carey has been working with the Jefferson Union High School District for fifteen years.  She began her career as a counselor at Westmoor High School and also served as Dean of Students at Jefferson High School.  In January 2014, Ms. Carey joined Terra Nova High School as Vice Principal of Guidance, where she continued to serve until becoming principal for the 2016-2017 school year.  Ms. Carey holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and received a Master’s Degree in Counseling Psychology from the University of San Francisco.

    Ame Seibel
    Vice Principal
    Ms. Seibel joined Terra Nova as Vice Principal during the 2018-2019 school year, after teaching Social Science for five years at Jefferson High School and eight years in Southern California.  Ms. Seibel earned her Bachelor’s Degree from San Francisco State University and is currently working on completing her Master’s Degree.

    Steve Pofahl
    Vice Principal

    Mr. Pofahl began his career at Westmoor High School in 2006, serving in a number of capacities since that time. He has taught in the Social Studies and Physical Education departments, coached Track and Cross Country, served as Athletic Director and Dean of Students, and finally started his Administrative journey as Vice Principal. He continues in that role of Vice Principal at Terra Nova for the 2021-2022 school year.

    Carla Hensley
    Vice Principal
    Formerly our Dean of Students, Ms. Hensley is officially putting her administration credential to use by stepping into the role of Vice Principal.  Ms. Hensley began working with Terra Nova High School in 2005, permanently joining the Social Science faculty in 2007.  While teaching full time, she was the GSA club adviser for three years, an instructional coach for three years, and served as the Dean of students assistanting the school's administration for over four years, working in the areas of attendance, campus supervision and safety.
