What is there to expect in the WHS symphonic band program?

Students will develop instrumental music technique in Symphonic Band. This class will cover music terminology and beginning music theory. Daily practice is required. Student participation in ALL concerts and after school rehearsals is a requirement of the course. Students will learn about the elements of good musicianship, tone, intonation, ensemble, balance and interpretation. Sight-reading will be developed and ear training and sight singing may be explored. College Preparatory.
