Jefferson Adult College and Career Preparation
Getting the High School Equivalency Certificate (GED) is just the beginning of a student's journey, and Jefferson Adult Education is here to help students bridge the gap between where they are now and where they want to be.
To this end, Jefferson Adult Education has incorporated a College and Career Readiness component into the Adult Secondary Education program in order to keep pace with the changes and demands of the 21st Century workplace. This orientation class is called "GED Boot Camp". In this course, students will develop academic skills in the context of college and career readiness and will be prepared to successfully transition to GED preparation courses, career training, community college and/or employment.
