Citizenship Preparation Course
Welcome, Students! Congratulations on your plan to become a U.S. citizen! We are all equal and gaining citizenship helps keep equality possible. In this course, you will learn all you need to know to prepare for the U.S. Citizenship and naturalization interview. The course is broken down into five units:
Unit 1: Understanding Steps to Citizenship (eligibility, N-400 application process, resources)
Unit 2: Civics, American Government and U.S. History
Unit 3: Reading, writing and listening practice
Unit 4: N-400 Interview Preparation and terminology
Unit 5: Final Steps, After filing the N-400
Most students will have a weekly Zoom meeting (45 min - 1 hour) as a one-on-one lesson via computer.
On Wednesdays, class is in-person for students who prefer or need live instruction.
