Jefferson Robotics

  • Jefferson Robotics competes in the First Tech Challenge competition.  In the 2017/18 Season, the club is led by our eight-year-veteran team, 3791, the Ziptiez.

New this year, the club is expanding its engineering outreach to the community.  We have developed closer ties with San Francisco State, Society for Hispanic Professional Engineers.  We have done outreach at a "Robotics in the Library" event at the John Daly branch of the Daly City libraries, science Fair at the San Bruno Library, School Maker Faire in San Mateo, and taght robotics as part of a summer camp.

We are working to engage our students and community in engineering and robotics through after school workshops and activities.

On February 3, 2018, We will be hosting a Qualifying Tournament for the NorCal Region.

We will wrap up the year with our spectacular weekend at THE Maker Faire in San Mateo where we took home the highest honors in 2016.
