• When to keep your student home

    To reduce the spread of certain infections, please consider the following parameters when deciding to send your student to school.

    Please avoid sending your child to school if they display any of the following signs:

    • STUDENTS SHOULD NOT COME TO SCHOOL WITH A FEVER*
      • A fever is when your oral temperatur is over 99.5F (37.5C). 
      • Student must be free of a fever for 24 HOURS without the use of fever reducing medication BEFORE returning to school. 
    • Flu* like symptoms:
      • Fever greater than 100F
      • Cough
      • Head/Body aches
      • Sore throat
      • Vomiting
      • Diarrhea
    • Sore Throat* with a fever*

     

    • Visible Rash* or Sores* with unknown origin

     

    *If your child has any one of these signs, and or related symptoms please contact your child's pediatrician/primary health care provider. The school district may require a note from your physician in order to return to school.
