Terra Nova Robotics, FIRST Tech Challenge (FTC) team 6002 "Basilisks", designs, builds, programs and drives robots in local and world-wide competitions.
This sport demands a student's resourcefulness, creativity, pride, and graciousness. A new and ambitious engineering challenge is unveiled each September. Qualifying tournaments take place from November through February, State Championships are held in February, Western US Regionals in March and World Championships in April.
The team was founded by three female members of Terra Nova's Class of 2013, known then as Antipodes (FTC 4529), the 2012 FTC Robot Design World Champions, www.TheOneRobot.com.

Terra Nova was one of 6 US teams to advance to the 2010 FLL Open European Championships in Instanbul, Turkey,and have advanced to the World Championships each of their 4 years of competing in the FIRST Tech Challenge.
