  • Campus Clean Up 9 – 11 am Saturday, 21 April 2018

Do you know that the Great Pacific Garbage Patch, a massive collection of plastic and floating trash in a region halfway between Hawaii and California is now twice as big as Texas and 3x as big as France? Accumulated in this area are 1.8 trillion pieces of plastic, weighing 80.000 metric tons, the equivalent of 500 Jumbo Jets. Let’s not contribute to this trash. This Earth Day, let us do our share by participating in a campus clean up from 9 – 11 am on Saturday, 21 April 2018. If you are interested to volunteer, please see your science teacher or Ms. Gutierrez to pick up a copy of the certificate of participation and a waiver. Meeting place is in front of the school by the flag pole. We will provide gloves but you are strongly encouraged to bring your own gloves. Parents, staff, and admin are most welcome to participate!
